In this video, the Organizing Committee of the Conference, formed by David Grand, Patricia Jacob, Cristiane Ramos, Cintia Fusikawa, Priscila Fusikawa, Daniel Gabarra, Daniela Silva, Juliana Lemes, Cacilda and Angela welcomes everyone present with the Hymn National and then a video was projected with the main sights of Brazil.
Following the opening table was composed by David Grand, Esly Carvalho, Patricia Jacob and Cristiane Ramos.
Carvalho was the first to speak. Responsible for bringing Brainspotting to Brazil, thanked Grand for accepting to come to our country and for trust and loyalty. He said that this Conference was the realization of a dream. He honored all those present in particular to the members of the Association and to God.
Then, Ramos, president of the Organizing Committee-in-Office, highlighted the happiness of being able to receive illustrious professionals from all over the world.
Jacob, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, began his speech thanking Grand for his confidence, as well as Esly, other Commissioners, participants and keynotes. He talked about the health problem he had had six months before and thanked all the help from his brainspotters friends.
Grand was honored with a song sung by a conference participant. He thanked them by saying that they were all his friends and that he had a strong direct connection to each of those present. He pointed out that Brainspotting was already an international phenomenon and that it belonged to everyone. As president of the first International Conference of Brainspotting, he ended by declaring the opening of the same.
